Wedding season has begun!!!

January 2, 2009 - my first wedding of the season! One word... BRRRRRRRRRRRR! It was freezing but that didn't stop us from spending about 2 1/2 hours outside! Well worth it - thank goodness I have studio lighting now though! These two were awesome!! They were willing to do ANYTHING - even sit on the freezing cement (right B?) What a great way to start the start the season. My new resolution ( I won't call it my New Year's resolution because those are just a set up for disappointment... hee hee) is to post pics as they happen , not sit up until 2 am posting 12 sessions at one time...ugh! Anyway, here are my first pics from 2009!! Can't wait for you guys to see the album!! Thanks for choosing me to document your day.. I am honored!!

Baby bump

Aren't pregnant women BEAUTIFUL!!!! These were kind of a last minute thing - boy am I glad I had the chance to do them - my first Maternity session EVER!!! This woman is incredible - I am blessed to have met her and can't wait to sit and talk with her again! She has since given birth to a beautiful baby girl!!

Baby goodness

Just before Christmas my cousin came over for a quick Maternity session with her beautiful little boy! Quick little run down... she had the Triple Screen Test done during her pregnancy (it tests for Down's Syndrome, Spina Bifida.. etc.) Long story short, her test came back positive saying that she would have a severely Down Syndrome child! She knew that God had planned for this child to be and ignored the doctors option of terminating the pregnancy. Well, this January she gave birth to a ..... drum roll please.... HEALTHY baby girl!! COMPLETELY HEALTHY! God hears and answers prayers and is STILL in the business of MIRACLES!!!!! Stay tuned for some sweet little 4-day old pics of baby E.

JOYFUL BLESSINGS!!

... and it only took 10 shots!!!!! Can you believe it??? And no, they are not in the bathtub!! The only one topless is the baby! The other two are wearing white! :) Wow, I love my babies!!!

I love it when parents want to do special things for their kids... this was one of those times! You were wonderful to work with - just like I remember!! :) Your kids are lucky to have you! :)

I can't believe I've known this beautiful lady for 26 years!?!?!?! Oh man, the things we used to do. Yikes, we have our work cut out for us with our own kids... uh oh! We've been able to travel parts of the world together... and have many "adventures" closer to home... where has the time gone? Now, she has a beautiful family of her own... how gorgeous is this little girl??? Can't wait for baby #2 to arrive in the next weeks!! I love you T!

Before you ask... NO, that's not me - it's my Aunt! We get mistaken for each other allllll the time... it's ok for me because she's beautiful AND wonderful! We LOVE this family - if you have the pleasure of knowing them, consider yourself blessed!!! Love ya!

I love this family!! They are friends of ours and we feel blessed to know them! And how great was it to have Grandma out for a visit from B.C.! I am so glad I was able to get some family moments on camera - although there were a few I didn't get because I was laughing too hard!! Be blessed!!
